Visa Payment Question

We're asking this question only because we have found ambiguous information. We know that you have to pay for the visa at ProCredit Bank. (Kiev Embassy for interview) On the embassy's website it says payment on the day of the interview. Here on VJ's embasssy info it says in advance. So, can my fiance purchase the voucher at ProCredit Bank a week before the interview; or does it have to be paid for on the day of the interview. This is all a matter of convenience. The appointment is at 0930. From what I understand that doesn't allow much time to get to the bank right as it opens, get the voucher and make it to the embassy by 0930.

Thanks again for clarifying things and helping a K-1 noob. Cheers!

I don't know if you can pay in advance.. but we paid at the same day when I had an interview, but we were late and nothing was wrong with that. Actually the bank opens early morning which you will have plenty time to pay and come to the Embassy.

You can pay at ANY ProCredit Branch in Ukraine, using your NVC number and passport for ID at any time prior to the inteview. IF you use the ProCredit branch near the consulate, allow at least 1/2 hour for line standing on the day of the interview. They open at 7am to accomodate the consulate and they are very busy early in the morning

Again, I do not know about any online or telephone opportunities. Worst case, the branch near the counsulate opens at 7am and she can pay the day of the interview. We did that for our visa, just allow 1/2 hour for this.

Vika paid at Procredit (you can't anywhere else) about three weeks in advance. There is no Procredit in Kherson, her home city, but they are in Donetsk, Odessa, etc. she says. She paid when she had her medical exam in Kiev, and the bank is apparently quite close to the clinic.
