Funny thing about having a family.....

So my wife and kid and have been gone back to canada for three weeks now, no big deal by immigration standards. Thing is, I'm going insane. I've never been away from my kid for more than two days before. I went to buy a webcam today and realized that my mac is so outdated I can't even buy a webcam for it. Anyways, I was thinking about my single life before I got married, it was only five years ago. I had no problem spending time alone, if wanted to go out I would, If I wanted to stay home and watch TV I would, and it wouldn't bother me. Now, my apartment seems like this Tomb, just empty. I guess what I'm trying to say is that once you have a family, there is no going back, nothing tops it. So here's to happy reunions that just seem far away right now. Hoo-rah.

ps:That's just the rye and coke talking, I'm actually not a sentimental ####....

Awww, leprechaun...

You sound like a sweety -- and yeah, it's the truth, eh?

And yeah, ya pretty much are a sentimental freak! ;)

Don't worry -- we'll all be finished with this process soon and won't have to post sappy/inane stuff on a website for a bunch of strangers to read.

Chin up and happy thanksgiving.

My advice to go have another would be ill-advised.
