Hi,

Does the co-sponsor need to be able to support his whole family, my fiances whole family plus the non immigratnt or does the co-sponsor only need to to be able to meet the requoirments for his family plus the non immigrant??? Please help. I need to know.

Also when do we need to have this form ready? Is it when the K-1 petition is approved??? Is it the I-134 or I-864??/

The Co-sponsor needs to be able to support the dependents they claim on tax records they have as well as you and any children you may bring with you.

Start gathering info now for it so that you don't have to scramble come interview time. The embassy may or may not require the I-134 form, It is at the consuls discretion to ask for this form usually. Personally, why risk not having this document?

Good luck!

The co-sponsor needs to be able to support himself, his dependents and your fiance and any of the fiances children (if any are involved). They will not need to count you or your children (if any are involved).

At the embassy stage it is the I-134 that will be used, you need to fill one out and your cosponor would need to fill one out.

Good Luck in you process
