So James (beneficiary) got a letter in the mail saying nothing has been received and they will dismiss our petition if nothing is received in 60 days. So he called the embassy and they confirmed that nothing had been received and he should resubmit the IV Checklist - it was originally submitted September 18 and still hasn't shown up.

The lady on the phone also mentioned that James should submit a DS-230 part 1 or his case wouldn't progress; everywhere else i have read said to sit on your paperwork until interview time and don't send in anything but the IV Checklist. Have I just been misinformed or has everyone else sent this in?

To answer my own question, I just read more on the embassy site and apparently we're supposed to :) Good thing that form got lost.

Yeah, you send that checklist PLUS the forms (no original documents or anything and the I-134 is the only form you keep until the interview).

In the embassy info section you'll see that you need second copy of a few of those forms, too, and some shouldn't be signed yet.

Just keep birth certificate, police certificate, I-134 stuff, and evidence with you to take to the interview, they won't need it until then.
