Need help post interview

Hi everyone,

My fiancee had his interview in Ghana this morning. From what he tells me everything went well except that the consular wants him to bring evidence from when we first started going out. This was 2001 and I came here 2002. I only have about 2 letters from 2001 and nothing else. I need suggestions as to what else i can do in relation to this because my fiancee said the consular wrote that he should bring letters, pictures and emails. We do not have any pictures and emails before 2002. Please help. He has to go back to the embassy on october 27th.

You can bring what you've got and a written statement why you do not have pictures, emails, etc.

Thanks guys for the help. I'm going to have my parents and his parents write a letter stating that they knew that we were in a relationship at the time. I don't think we have any pictures because it was the beginning of the relationship plus I didnt have a camera then. Those days u had to pay a photographer to take pictures of u and it wasn't cheap being that we were poor freshmen in College. I will get that and add the letters I wrote to my fiancee then. Sorry this is late.

We had the same dilemma at our interview. We were asked for pictures and letters from when we first met. We just had a few letters but no emails so I sent my SO the letters and then wrote a letter (addressed to the CO) that we did not have any pictures from when we first met. The CO didn't even look at it.

Just send what you have and then add a statement explaining why you do not have the other items.

It sounds like you already have plans for it, i was going to suggest the same thing.. have his family(and yours) to write affidavits of having knowledge of your realtionship back then.
