Thank you for adding me on the list. But I noticed that you put me on CSC filer. I filed @ VSC. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you.

That's comforting, Rings.

I'm a little concerned today, tho - they've still not cashed my check and no NOA. They signed for this packet last Thursday a.m.; what's up?

Anchors Aweigh...here's to hoping our NOA's are on their way el pronto.

Dejima - welcome! ;)

Yup...checked my mail again today and there was nothing. So, I dont know how long does it take for NOA come in the mail but oh well atleast they cashed my payment so way to go.

It says on your signature that you got your NOA1 & extension letter 10/05/09. That's the NOA you've been waiting and need to update the thread. The next letter you will receive is the ASC appointment notice for your biometrics. Best wishes. :)

And also, the date you will put on the NOA1 row will be the date on the letter not the date you received it. :)

How do we make sure our VJ text editor is is set to Rich Text Editor?

I want to add that we received the NOA today!!!! YAY.

HOWEVER....I am also a little confused by the letter as it states that if you have not already done so, please submit supporting evidence such as health/car insurance showing joint accounts, birth certificates for any children, tax returns, blah, blah, blah.

We have already done so. Obviously. 4+ lbs worth. Should I fret? Is this just a standard cookie-cutter letter that goes out to every applicant, regardless of how much supporting evidence was sent in? Or are they in a very passive way asking for more?

*10/6/09 - sent I-751, priority mail and signature upon receipt....biting nails (when will NOA arrive?)

*10/8/09 - packet received at USCIS 10:22am

*11/5/09 - biometrics

*11/19/09 - email from USCIS stating approval!!!!!!

11/27/09 - Green card arrived in mail! wow, it's *over*!

I think that's for those who are in the military or spouse in the military that is out of the country. Not sure, I don't have my letter with me. But read it again, I think it's the paragraph before that confusing message to u. :D

By the way, what is the date of your NOA so we can add u up. :)

Our NOA date is today. 10/17/09 :)

Here's the letter's verbage below and the part I found perplexing in bold - why would they ask us for this stuff if we've already sent it? Don't they check to see that such evidence is already included in the application packet? I dont get it.
