June 29, 2007 : Erin and Muraari's Wedding in Seattle, WA (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

July 24, 2007: Mailed all paperwork to Chicago (Wish us luck)

Aug 31, 2007: Biometrics Appointment

Sep 1, 2007: Received NOA1 (Dated Aug 29)

Nov 25, 2007: Received notice for interview in Baltimore, MD (No touches, nothing online to date)

Jan 22, 2008: Interview in Baltimore, MD. Went well.

Jan 29, 2008: Can finally track I-130 online. Approved.

Jan 31, 2008: Email I-485 "Card production ordered"

Feb 5, 2008: Another email I-485 "Card production ordered"

Feb 7, 2008: Received I-130 approval and I-485 "Welcome to America Letter" in snail mail

Feb 7, 2008: Email I-485 "Approval notice mailed"

Feb 9, 2008: GC in hand....... (Done with USCIS for a few months) YAYY!!!!!!

Oct 22, 2009: Process starts again. Going to mail I-751 to VSC

Jan 26, 2010: Notice of Approval and Card Production for 10-year GC

Feb 3, 2010: 10-Year GC Received

:help:Help: There are serious concerns here: TROUBLE :unsure:

It appears that most applications receive a new type of Greed Card within 2 weeks after Biometrics.

We realized the the I-751 applications Removal the Conditions of a provisional Green Card to a Permanent Green Card (Ten Years) status. What troubles us is that there is nothing on the USCIS site when we type in the receipt number on this site to check the status/ progress of our application to remove conditions.

Problems: My silly wife pulled a JOKE on the Internet where she reported that her husband hit her six month child in the face with his fist, this event upset her to the point that she pick up her husband's hand gun to point at him to protect her child. Then, her husband laughed at her saying the gun was unloaded, so she ran through the house and tossed the gun in the back yard. First, I never have any unloaded guns. Secondly, no guns were in the house during this event. And, third, I would never strike a child in the face... Three days after this article, the local police and county welfare officer visited the husband at work and wife on an annomus tip... NO LAUGHING MATTER. I, the husband denied this event ever happened and invited to see our six month old son with no obvious bruises or marks on his face or body. My wife said it was a practical joke... But, she did admit spanking twice our six month old for wiggling when she tried to change his diapers. The officier and welfare worker asked me (husband) what was my reaction to wife spanking a less than six month old, my reply was that I yelled at my wife for hitting a small baby. Both the officer and County Welfare officer left our home with the belief that my wife was the BIGGEST LIAR in the city. Of course our social security numbers & data were taken to be reported on their data base . I was under investigation for months: I was innocent.

Would the above child abuse report be a problem for the application for Removal of Conditions (I-751)?

Why nothing on the www.uscis.gov site when inquiring on status with receipt number? :blink:

10/22//09- Mailed Petition Via USPS Certified Mail

10/29/09- NOA received: 21:23 AM on November 29, 2009 in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677.

11/12/09- Check Cashed

11/13/09- Received Appointment Letter for Biometrics

12/09/09- Biometrics in St Louis, MO

Waiting???? No card, nothing on USCIS as progress of petition for Change of Status :help:

Silly joke? That doesn't sound like a silly joke to me and to tell you the truth I think you should re-evaluate your decisions to remove the conditions of her permanent residency. It looks like your granddaughter oh sorry wife is completely insane and is only married to you for a green card or money, but don't worry once you are no longer alive and she is with all your money she will beat the sh*t out of your children all she wants and you won't be blamed.

These situations make me sick because they are the reasons why the immigration process takes too long. I feel sorry for your children. Please do us a favor and either commit your wife to a psychiatric hospital or send her back to her country.

yes i m married to a western and i am western too !!!!

my husband and i are the same age and marry for the right reasons. we met each other when we were coworkers. definitely not the same situation.

dont get me wrong I love when people mix cultures but i just notice there is a lot of opportunistic people out there just trying to get marry to get out of their misery as it is their ticket to a better life.

also the guys that go ahead and look for much younger girls in uncivilized countries are taking advantage of this girls too.

I think the roots of this type of relationship are base in sand and is obviously gonna collapse any minute, so i think it is almost irresponsible to bring kids to this world.

That's life you know. Nothing's perfect. I agreed with you that there are alot of girls who wants to get married to a USC then come over here.Ive seen alot . My husband is older than me as well but never ever Im thinking of using him because the truth is my life is way better off in my own country than here and our marriage is based on truth love. But its best if we just leave the guy alone and Im sure he knows how to manage his sittuation. :)

Please do not make judgmental comments about the individual journey of others in this forum nor derail this thread from its original purpose.

I got my approval letter in the mail yesterday as well and it was dated 1/25. The approval date was 23 ( my expiry date too) . Looking forward to receive the card soon. Anyway, for those who are still waiting ... I pray for your approvals as well.

Yeah, I'd say I was more excited during that phase :) I mean come on, the odds are that you just get your approval and no RFEs. Almost everyone gets it!
