hello to all the special people on this thread. I have just recieved my Noa2. I will be leaving the USA for 3 months to be with my wife in China. How can I or can I prepair documents prior like the 864? or anything else to help move this whole process along for this time period i will be out of the country?

Thank you

Luckily you're filing for China. China has Electronic Processing so you could receive all forms from the NVC by email. You may rack up some international phone bills (use Skype!) to call the NVC but if you're spending 3 months there, then that's not something worth complaining about!

NVC Journey (Concise Version; See Timeline for Full)

2012-10-15 : Received 10-Year Green Card
2013-06-05 : Filed N-400 for Naturalization

I'm working on the NVC Electronic Processing Wiki Info Entry over at http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...onic_Processing

It's still a bit rough - but should give you some idea of what to expect if YOU WANT to slam through NVC Electronic Processing. IMO - the biggest hurdle is to get your case converted from paper (a GUZ Casenumber ) to electronic (a GZO casenumber ).

If ya get stuck, post something here in this topic - I'll be watching for ya !

Since yer leaving soonish - I suggest you order 3 years of tax transcripts from the IRS (It's FREE ! )

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

Since your K-1 was denied, and you are applying for CR-1, I just wanted to take the time to remind you - change your VJ timeline. You can always attach a second one to it, just read how to do it on the bottom of the timeline page, there are instructions  Good luck with your marriage visa and have a speedy NVC stage
