nothing from NVC........ USCIS send the case but NVC doesn have it... what going on? there

This is AWFUL! Sincere sympathies, mate. This disappearing file scenario can happen to anyone and I'm sure you're saying "why me". Keep us posted. Thinking bout ya x

I have just received a letter from the US consulate in Amsterdam stating that they have received my visa application and that I should prepare for the visa interview!

They gave me a link to all the P3 documents. Woohoo!

Where is your USC?

Have your petitioner call his local congressman and explain the situation.

They have people assigned to work with immigration issues.

USCIS uses a carrier to send documents NVC.

Call USCIS and ask them for the tracking number.

It takes long enough to go through this process without things getting lost!

Thank everyone, and I have to say, the guides, help and friends here truly do help getting through this journey. I don't have details on the interview yet, but it seemed pretty easy for her. She wanted to speak to someone in her native language of Urdu, the officer asked why? She said, because I don't want to make a mistake. The officer said, I wont let you make a mistake. How nice. I'm missing details, but he soon said, I am giving you the visa. At this she was so surprised that she asked him two times "are you giving me the visa?" The officer was about to request a translator at this point when she said, I understand you're giving me a visa!!!! LOL

I'm more then willing to help pack her suitcases, matter of fact, she and I joke about that all the time. I'm hoping for a March wedding, we'll see who wins that battle. Looking forward to hearing more from the rest of our October gang.

Thanks Bacon and Laura, hope you guys are doing well with this part of the process. After "mastering" this part of the K1 process, I started looking ahead to AOS and Advance Parole and Biometrics, wow, it's a never ending learning process, and oh, more expensive.
