Hmmm..I've been holding back the urge to call them, but I think I might give them a call today anyway. See if we can get some more information.

Maybe I'll demand waffles and pancakes while we're waiting!

And a another December approval yesterday (Laura - I am only looking at Igor's list, 2 were posted yesterday, 1 Octoberarian...and ANOTHER December! What on earth are they doing? Yes, yes, government agency....they're running it like a lottery now! Do they go to where the files are, get blindfolded, spin round three times and pick one at random like a lucky dip?

Eggs, if you get on the phone and actually get any answers, tell them I'll fedex them all a year's supply of pancakes.

I tried calling them two weeks ago when the November guy got his. They said that some times requests take longer to verify than others. Apparently even if all of December, January and every other month gets processed before October then it's because our cases are "complicated"

Maybe the room filled with boxes of OUR petitions was so full that the door was blocked and they had to do a few December files to get through to ours. They must be mere inches away now! Surely!

Either that, or we should ask those couple of December people what kind of leprechauns they've been rubbing...

I'm tempted to just say that all Octoberians and even some Novemberians should call up VSC and ask them why two people from December got theirs when there are still 120 applications left from the months before just on this site. Maybe if enough people call up then they might get to work on it.

As we all know - that is horse****. How would they know whether our cases are complicated when they haven't even looked at them? We've not been touched so we're still in the box. Are they telepathic? I guess there's no point in calling cos they just read off generalized scripts designed to get ya off the phone. So glad you are all here to sound off with. It is a great comfort.

If anyone else is interested in calling then my advise to you is to get to the case status check screen and when they ask you to enter in your code start pressing the wrong numbers. I accidentally did that and it's how I ended up talking to a human and not the recording.

Bacon, you go girl! I just spoke to my US finace on the phone. He wants to contact his congressman. Our point is, we do not mind waiting in line, no matter how long that line is, we do not want our case jumped up the line, we just want VSC to stick to the line! Which doesn't seem a lot to ask.

I know! That's my thing too. I wouldn't mind waiting...okay, so I would mind waiting. But it's just screwed up for them to jump the line like that. I mean, they passed up 120 applications. All of those applications cannot have something wrong with them that makes it to where they cannot be worked ahead of December applications.

How are you all jumping to conclusions that they are working on December filers?? Also remember that people on Visa journey here represent less than 5% of applications really applied for!

They approved two December filers. While they may not be working solely on December now they still jumped from processing October or November requests to processing December.

You can't based your facts on 2 or few applications out of thousands. Those applications could have been sorted/stored accidently with the wrong pile.

I can freak out unnecessarily if I want to, damnit! There's nothing saying that I have to be reasonable while waiting for this stupid NOA2. I'm sorry if I'm not like other people who can do the whole zen thing and wait patiently. I'm a control freak who needs something to focus their energy on. And finding ways that VSC is playing dirty is one of those things.

Or that conspiracy theory we had going about The Queen had some damn good merit. That should be investigated too.

You can't really base facts off of 2 applicants, but these are 2 applicants from Visajourney, right? So if all applicants from visajourney represent only 5% of all applications, then it is now 2 applicants from 5% of the entire population of applicants...

God,I cannot be zen about this either.I agree with you Bacon,I will be unreasonable and I will ignore the whole perspective frills,I will not look at the big picture if I want to !

My guy does. Though it could be because I give him warnings ahead of time when I'm freaking out. So he calls me at his own risk.

Hey, how has it been going with your guy losing their job? Is he looking for a new one?
