help me !!regarding DS-230

Timeline

They say you should send one complete copy (remember to put your case #)... And make a copy for you and one copy for your SO... I did not include a copy with mine, but was told from others that they will not give back your originals if you do not provide a copy??/ But if you dont mind not getting the originals back at the consulate, you do not have to put a copy in....

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

You send the original 230 form, and 1 set of original and/or certified documents (the official ones) as well as 1 complete xerox set of all papers (f you want the original/certified copies back)...

ok i m sending my original DS-230 form and along with this form i m sending photocopies of each doc. like birth certificate pcc etc. which are attested copies(true copies of originals signed by gazzetted officer) then i have to send just one set!!!

I would assume that you meant, original plus an extra copy. Yes this is the way to send them to NVC; remember to write case # on them.

Are they certified copies from the issuing agency? If you just had the copies notarized, that is not sufficient.

True copies will not be accepted at NVC. You need certified copies from issuing agency.

Citizenship

09-07-2012 : Mailed N-400 package

09-10-2012 : N-400 Package delivered

09-13-2012 : Check cashed, email and text received with case number

09-14-2012 : Biometrics letter mailed

09-15-2012 : NOA received dated 09-10

09-17-2012 : Biometrics letter received for 09-27

02-25-2013 : Interview Passed - Original interview was 01-07-2013 but was out of country so postponed
