visiting after petition filed

Once we send in the I-129F petition, and are waiting for the NOA2, can my fiancee visit me here in the States, or does he have to stay in Canada until his interview/visa is issued?

Many people visit without problems, but some get denied at the immigration.

My fiance filed the petition in Jan.

I travelled July after i got the NOA2 but before sending back P3. They let me through, though the issue of the petition never came up when I declared myself at the border. I had a plane ticket return trip.

She has to provide proof of ties to Canada if she is asked for proof. She may be denied, but it would be because they are concerned she will enter the US to live. She should bring nothing that could indicate she might settle while she's there (and not return to Canada).
