What happens once you get approved for the visa?? Are there any additional steps??? I searched the forums but didn't really find anything specific...unless there isn't anything...if that's the case...

1. Pick up Visa

2. Buy Airline Ticket

3. Board the plane and land in the states at POE???

Is that really all there is?? Of course once they land in the US, I understand the whole apply for SSN and then if the SO enters before 2 years of marriage Adjustment of Status...but what else??

No, we didn't get pink yet...still in AP...I'm just looking ahead... :)

GENERAL INFO

[*]12-xx-2007 - 1st Trip (6wks) & Met him halfway around the world

[*]03-xx-2008 - Got engaged - two people on opposite sides of the world

[*]05-xx-2008 - 2nd Trip (2wks) - Engagement/Marriage/Consummation

[*]06-12-2008 - Filed I-130 (CR-1) with Vermont Service Center

[*]11-20-2009 - Green Card

[*]02/07/2011 - Renew Vietnam Passport

[*]07/30/2011 - Process of Removing Conditions Begins

I think one thing you do after you get pink is hmm........................ GO TO BE WITH YOUR LOVED ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :blush:

take a couple of vaccination shots at Cho Ray or you will have to take it at your P.O.E. its about $70 at the P.O.E compared to about $200,000 to 300,000 vnd in vietnam

What shots are they requiring at the POE???

10 YR Greencard: 03/03/11 APPROVED

So now it's crunch time...my husband will be flying over here before the end of the month!!! :) So far...

1. Pick up Visa with sealed documents to be opened at POE by officer

2. Purchase Airline Tickets

3. Shots...which ones???

4. Check up on SSN

5. Get a job

6. AOS at 1 year 9 months...

...ANYTHING else??

6. There is no AOS. If it's a conditional GC then it would be removing conditions.
