Annie how cold does it get in AZ? I am under the assumption that it doesn't get cold there but then I saw that pix in Las Vegas when it snowed last winter.

RedBull........girl...that is hubby's newest addiction....doesn't help the wallet much

It can get pretty chilly (for AZ) here...typically never below 60 though but I have seen low 50's. In the mountains and outside the city it can get lower but Phoenix...our winter is about 65 to 75 for only 2 months the most. I don't own a jacket (heavy one), no winter apparel at all actually...donated it the year I moved here! :P

It's the changing of the weather I think...its finally below 100! Last night it was in the low 80's and I was so cold outside in our backyard... That makes me laugh since I remember moving here and wearing shorts almost ALL year long thinking they were crazy here to wear sweatshirts! I guess I'm "one of THEM" now....:blush:

Yup - same here. I wore long sleeves at 80 degrees when I lived in FL.

It's so funny! I used to swim the first two years during the winter, again thinking everyone was crazy! It was 75 or 80 and no one went out to the complex pool...well except the NY'ers (me, dad and my family that visited)! I'm sure they were thinking we were the crazy ones!

In before midnight. B)

Sorry I haven't read much of the thread. Haven't been doing well lately. I have a healthcare gripe though. I did manage to get in to see a GI specialist earlier than most would but now we have to wait until mid November to do the colonoscopy. Not that I'm waaay wicked eager to get that procedure done on me but I'm gonna be one wicked pissed off mofo if they find colon cancer and meanwhile had they done it sooner I could already be starting treatments. If it isn't that then I'm ok with waiting but geez louise what's the big long line for colonoscopies all about? I talked to my mom yesterday about how I'm gonna hate having it done and she said,, "well it's good to get it behind you".:rofl:

So it's just a waiting game I guess, not that I don't know how to do THAT! lol. Meanwhile I'm nauseous all of the time (no i'm not pregnant) and in constant pain in my abdomen amongst other symptoms I don't care to make public. (you're welcome ;) ) On the bright side I've lost 16 pounds in the last month without trying. :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok. (F)

Bridget, this sounds rather serious and I hope that you'll get to the bottom of it. I wonder what's the deal with the wait for the colonoscopy? Will you have the procedure done at his office or the hospital? Anyway, you are in my thoughts and congrats on the weight loss - please take care of yourself and keep us posted!!! (((HUGS)))

about the swine flu - we had it here earlier in the month and it lasted almost 3 weeks. Apparently one of the characteristics is that it can kind of come and go, you seem like you are on the road to recovrey and then WHAM its back full force. It happened twice to my husband. we were all just dragging and exhausted most of the time. SO those of you who have it just take care and rest all you can.
