Good morning everyone

I had my interview on March 26,2009 the interview went good but the CO gave me my passport back and she says she needs to do some AR .

every time i call DOS or send emails to the embassy asked about my status they said ''the case is pending AP''

on July 30,2009 i got an email from the embassy asked me to send them my passport .

they got my passport on Aug 2,2009.

since that day every time i email them to ask my status they say '' the case is pending CO review''

the embassy called me and they told me to go to them on Sept 27,2009 for a second interview .

i had a second interview on Sept 27,2009 it was very long interview about 40 minutes with 2 CO a man and a woman plus a translator .the woman asked me if i have any problems talking English.i said no and they they started to ask me questions about how we met ?when? what is her birth date ?......and the man was like where did you learn English ? cause your English is very well .they asked me that questions many times .

the woman asked me when your fiancee was here last time ? when i said April 2007 she goes like wow big woow i said i know its long time but we rather to save money as much as we can cause we have many things to pay for like the wedding, the honeymoon........

after they done i asked them if we are approve or if there any new news for us ? they said no good news no bad news .and they need to talk to my fiancee .

I told them that she is at her mom's and they asked me if i know her phone number.i gave it to them .they didn't call her so far.

they didn't give me my passport back .I don't know if they forgot to give it back to me or they didn't notice that they have it .or they wanted to keep it .

Does anyone know whats going on ?any experience with a similar situation ??

Is there anything we can do ?

my fiancee sent 2 emails one to the embassy and one to the Consul General and her mom sent 2 emails to the embassy and to the Consul General as well .and my fiancee contacted her senator .

I think after all of that interview .i guess they have a doubt about something .i guess they think its fraud marriage .

If they are going to deny us how can we find out about that ?!!!!!

We don't have any luck with the embassy.first time we tried to get married and we couldn't cause of that damn form and now we have problems to get a visa .

Or i guess me and my fiancee are two of those people if they don't have bad luck they don't have any at all !!!!!

Thank you so much .

its a hard situation to know what they think, but it seems maybe for others to learn its better to do the visits than to not as in save for later. The visits seem more important to get thru the process than the save for later.....hopefully they call soon and can give u some answers. Seems they are looking for a answer to something still.

Look, if you were going to be denied, they would have given back your passport and abruptly stopped the interview. This has nothing to do with ' luck' . It is the clean version of hell, Mohamed. As far as the infrequent visits go, the embassy is well aware that some people just do not have the money to travel.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Nagi, that makes alot of sense. Mohamed, imagine how Cheryl & Medo felt for 2 years, or Bridget and Usama for 2-3 interviews. There is no easy explanation for what exactly they do. There is not even 2 identical cases really. Some have one interview, some have several interviews, some have short APs, some have AP/AR, some have long APs, some get stuck in common name checks, some with common names dont get too stuck at all, some get asked for movement certificate, some dont, some get asked for passport immediately thru the background checks, some get asked for it after the background checks, some get home visits, some dont.

I do think as Nagi said, that if you were meant to get denied then it would have already happened. Think positive, and encourage your fiance.

Sorry to hear about this mess.

Has your fiance asked her congressperson's office for assistance? The embassy is more likely to answer them than you. Although the answer may be, still being processed.

Thank you everyone for your words i really appreciate them .

Nagi:-

I know its clean version of hell and it seems like i was right when i called them that name .

I don't have any luck with them at all i mean at all .I'm trying to think positive .I told Trina I don't think they would be going to all this extreme if they were not going to issue the visa. or if they were going to deny us they would that at the interview .....

Tamara :-

thank you so much for your words.but in fact what happened to us is kinda weird .they took me to a room i mean the 2 CO .i never ever seen anyone had his interview in a room .everyone had their interview through the glass just with one CO.

they asked me about everything .and they asked me many times about the same thing .

even about my English .the man ''the CO'' asked me have you ever been in USA cause you sound like an American??!!!!!!!! so wired questions .

The woman ''the CO'' says i never seen awesome pictures and documents like yours .

The man '' the CO'' says your are very nice guy ........

I don't think that i answered any of their questions wrong .and i think if they will call Trina she will give them the same answers sooooooo what the heck they are waiting for to approve us ? it doesn't make any sense .

I told them maybe the picture is kinda dark and maybe our case is complected but i swear we love each other more than you can even imagine and please don't misunderstand us .and don't deny our 4 years of relationship and love in one minute.

Jeanne:-

i don't know if its a good sign or not cause they kept my passport .

Betsy:-

still no news from the embassy .

Keep us in your prayers guys cause we really need it so much .

Keep your chin up Mohamed (and Trina)! (F)

All will be fine...I don't think the questions they asked you sound weird at all. They were impressed with my husbands English (verbal and written) as well. Although he only had one interview...they did ask him similar questions. They still have your passport my friend, that in itself is a good sign. BTW---they don't "foget" anything so not returning your passport was not a mistake...believe me.

Best of luck and you are both in my prayers! (F)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
