Yes, it's a good idea to start filling out the forms required by your fiance(e)'s embassy.

And yes, the DS forms must be completed in English, regardless of the native language of the country where the interview will take place.

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

The forms are accepted in English at all consulates. I filled out the DS 156 and DS 156k, and prepared everyhting else for the interview before the NOA2, go ahead, helps to pass the time.

The US Embassies everywhere are staffed with US citizens (or staff of the same) and they speak primarily English.

The DS-156K for the US Embassy in Moscow is in Russian and must be completed in Russian.

Interesting, but from Gary's post above it sounds as though they'll also accept the English DS-156K obtained from the State Department website.

I wondered about this as well, because Seoul provides their own English/Korean DS-230 on their website and in their e-packets. But when I contacted the visa section by email and asked, they said that the form must be completed in English. The Korean is just to assist applicants in knowing what goes in the boxes.

But, as always, consulates have wide latitude in setting their own policies for the visa application process, so YMMV.
