Listen, tell your husband that it's not about his feelings. It's about you and how you feel and what you feel is right. Tell him that even if it's not important to the USCIS, it's important to you and he should honor you as his wife. You have a need and he needs to understand that what you need is important to you. Explain that it's not about his needs and that you need him to please try to understand that you have feelings too and your feelings are important. It's not about the USCIS it's about making your spouse feel better and he need to do that damn him!

Funny, it is my husband that is the nervous-twervis about everything! He is stressing everyday and asking about the paperwork. But in all fairness, I kinda just handled everything (like I always do, that is a man thing) so he is here at the last minute saying "what do I need to do"? Well DUH lovy, it's all been done! The interview is pretty much the only thing he has had to do and HE'S stressing now!!! Gimmie a break!!! Sorry, venting! MEN

Very true, they do not look upon a child as proof of a bonafide relationship... However, to try to see the positive, at least you can expect that your husband (sinad) stays very cool in stressful situations.... This is a great attribute for a spouse. Better to have a balance between the two... Just give him everything he needs, label it and send him on his way, he will be OK!!! You're NEVER gonna get a rise outta him if that is not his nature, so just go with it!!!

please tell him, that having a child with him while you are still in your country is not an assurance that you wont get denied, unless, you are in the US with your child.there's no denial when you adjust status if you have a child with him and you are already here in the US wether you are in food stamp, based on experience.ask him that you need certain documents bec. even if he's rich and there's no enough evidence, it would be useless.i guess your husband is like mine, lazy slow when it comes to fixing the petition. I had a hard time too getting what i need from my husband for my petition. god bless you,i'm sure things will be fine with you, once your husband realizes the situation.

Please everyone NOT from Casa watch what you advise as this embassy is very different and hard than others, dont even begin to compared steps. My best rememberence is you DO at least have to take a copy of the letter to the dr, requirements chg from embassy to embassy. In Morocco at least all that i have seen when it is the woman coming from there most had no problems, you should do fine if well prepared with the questions/answers, just do NOT under estimate these people. AP is a time after the interview that they do MORE search and finish up your case, most men get it, i dont remember of a woman ever getting it

Aren't we always the ones to take on the load?

If he doesn't care about his own case....then?

Yes give him a deadline SOONER than you really need it, that way if he delays you will still have time.

I am sorry to hear of your frustrations but you will quickly learn you are not alone in having to deal with them.

Good Luck (F)

no don't lie about it.

I was sketchy about it at first and like how credible we would look saying that but it happens so much now adays and there is nothing wrong or unusual about it.
