Those are the 3 standard slips used..

Pink means visa approved...

Blue, means they need something... time more docs. anything...

White means Denied

Green is sometimes used in place of blue...

Thats not to say they wont use a different color if they run short at some time...

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

i hear alot about the blue pink and white slips after the interview...what exactly are these slips?

When i had my interview,i was given blue, pink and white slips too.white slip stated what additional document I needed to submit at the USEM,blue was when they checked the additional document and needed to be filled up and be submitted together with the required doc within one year,(it's not an outright denial),and pink is the delbros slip for the visa delivery smile.gif

white slip does not mean denial....

it means they are asking for more documents or your case is under review like ours. we got the white slip but we were not told to give any more documents...they had everything that they needed, just additional review or AP/AR which totally sucks

A white slip does NOT necessarily mean that your visa is denied. If the Consul requires you to submit any additional paperwork, you will be issued a white slip AND a blue slip. The white slip and the blue slip are basically the same thing. The difference is that everyone always refers to the white slip because it is the one which is signed by the Consul Officer. The white slip tells you what papers you are required to submit. The blue slip is basically the same thing, but it is not signed by the Consul Officer.

My wife received a white slip AND a blue slip. They both said the same thing. They said to submit another original copy of page 3 of my I-129F. The white slip was signed by the Consul Officer. The blue slip was not. My wife submitted the required paper three days later. She received her visa the following week.

Also, during your interview, the Consul Officer will tell you if they require you to submit any additional paperwork. The Consul Officer will explain everything to you. If you don't understand it, then you can ask the Consul Officer to explain it to you.

If you get a pink slip, you are good to go. Good luck with your interview. Think pink.
