Ok im freaking out. My husband and I are after the K3 visa. I was told that since we are married after we got our I-130 NOA1 we should send our I 129 F to chicago. How can i keep track of it, if the USCIS website does not have any information for I 129F for a spouse. I dont know where to look for the status of my application since i sent it to the Chicago office. Should I still look under the Texas service center since I live in houston?I have been looking at the time lines and I see that many people who sent their petition after me to the TCS and other services centers have gotten their NOA1 before me. Where is the correct place to follow up on this? If any one sent their I129 F to chicago can u tell me how long it took for you to get you 1NOA???? please im going bonkers trying to find out whats going on.

Thank you

HI,

You can track the I-129f (spouse) on the USCIS web site just like the I-130, but you have to wait till you get your NOA#1 which will have a reciept number on it that you will enter in the web site to check your status.

It took about 10 days to get an NOA1 from Chicago. I hope yours gets here pretty soon. How long ago did you send it? You know, I got my NOA1 but the USCIS doesn't recognize the receipt number, so I can't track the status. Has anyone else ever had that problem? The receipt number doesn't start with an EAC, it starts with an MSC or something like that.

Thanks,

A Greener

That is where I am at on the K3 - I sent our k3 package up to the Chicago center as the form instructs married couples to do when applying for k3 using the k1 form.

Although I have confirmed receipt by Chicago by USPS Certified Mail, I am still waiting on a NOA#1 so I can add and track online. Although I received the delivery confirmation card back in a couple of days when I sent our I-130 to Texas Service Center. I guess Chicago doesn't sign those for the USPS.

The K3 is sent from Chicago to Missouri. Your tracking number will begin with MSC (Missouri Service Center).

Our lawyer sent the K3 to Nebraska! I had not found VisaJourney yet, so for 4 months I was watching a LIN number that was useless. We had to start over in the correct place. Verify your number is MSC. Good luck in your journey!

The USCIS website won't accept my "MSC" number in order to check the status online. Am I going to get a new number from somewhere else to track the status of my I129F/K3?

After the MSC number is approved, you get a number for your embassy. Ours was AMM for Amman Jordan.

How long has it been since you received the NOA1? And only enter the 3 letters followed by the number with no spaces. I hope you will be able to track it, because it is a wonderful feeling when you see the approval of it!

Good luck,

Jackie

I thank GOD from the bottom of my heart. Today I called to check on the status of my I129 F. I told them that I sent it 5 weeks ago. June 24, and the women said no you did not sent it June 24 we got it on July 13, and I said well it must of been sitting in the lock box all this time. Any how she said in a short abrupt voice well your receipt was sent on the July 18 bla bla bla and gave me the number over the phone. I was just so glad to hear that they have it and we are moving along. I been pulling my little hair seeing every one get their NOA1 and me nothing. That was strange but sure enough they have it now and we are on our way to waiting. THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS to GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD from the bttom of my heart. :D

I received the NOA1 letter today from Chicago Service Center today. It is dated July 19 notice date, received it today July 24th.

I also logged into my account at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp and attempted to add this MSC receipt number however it does not recognize.

I have read on the forums that MSC is in reference to the petition being sent over to the Missouri Service Center.

I've been all over so far, Texas to California on I-130, Chicago to Missouri on K3 so far. Hopefully the NVC is the next stop.

Enjoy reading your posts!
