Hey, Rosie. I'm with you. I've been trying to be calm and patient but...GEEZ! C'mon! Three flipping touches and a massive pause for the Christmas weekend...I'm getting pretty antsy having my life held in purgatory by a bureaucrat.

I would just chill and not expect approvals before the new year. CSC will be open, but many workers will take the week off, I'm guessing. I am a fed gov't contractor and most people burn vacation the last week of the year because it is "use it or lose it". Happy new year everyone!

WOW!!! That is so great to hear! I hope that you feel much better and know that you are onto the next step in this journey. Make sure you call and pester NVC next week to make sure that everything is going...actually, if you already have your hardcopy NOA2...call them tomorrow if they are open. You might already be in/out of NVC...but that is the next step. Congrats!!! :star: :star: :star:

I called NVC yesterday and they said my case should be heading to Sydney by the end of this week, so Im happy with that. :jest:

Awwww, what teases! Grats, though! Our timelines have been fairly identical -- it'll be interesting to see who gets through Consulate first! (PROBABLY YOU! LOL Montreal takes forever because they are short staffed :P)

So, I couldn't wait until I got back to the US to wade through my mail to find out what happened to the petition. I just got off the phone with NVC and THE PETITION IS THERE!!!!! It got there on 31 Dec 09! Yeah, baby!
