my fiance is way under the poverty guidelines so i need a co sponsor. my question is does my fiance need to fill out a affidavit of support and the co sponsor a seperate one? or just one from the co sponsor?

For both the K visa and the Adjustment of Status the US Citizen petitioner/spouse will complete an affidavit of support as the primary sponsor.

The co-sponsor completes their own affidavits and supplies all needed supporting documents.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
