But some prefer to give birth in Phils due to much cheaper cost. In US, Pinay wont be able to get insurance Co to pay expenses if she is already preggy. Paying for CRBA much cheaper than out-of-pocket paying for birth in US. Cheers.

I see.. but? even I am cover with my hubby beneficiary to his health insurance??

Because on there company he work He is allowed to apply me..

What NVC letter?? I ask my hubby he haven't receive any letter from NVC?

what is the CONTENT of that ? we only receive email letter :-)

If you are covered by your husband's medical insurance then our out of pocekt expenses should be minimal (a couple thousand if type is PPO or just a couple hundred with HMO).

Most medical insurance carriers should cover a spouse & child even before they are in the US.

I'll be adding Anna & Gabby to my Medical Insurance effective Oct 1 as we are hoping they'll be here by Christmas...

Any of the NVC Receipts or Coversheet packets should work, they indicate your NVC Case number which in turn is the case number for the USEM.

Huh?? why?? they are not allowed to do that?? some say u can do ur medical advance..

I am still thinking doing that.. I am not sure.. what is the problem if ever u can have a advance medical?

Why?

The medical is good for 6 months, she's already at NVC... What's the downside of going now?

Way I see it, go sooner if you get the Sputum then you're not delayed as long since you went early.

Let us stand out on our reasoning. Sister, there must a reason why you said she shouldn't take an early medical without the appointment letter. Please let us know why?

She is already in NVC and got the NOA2, she can even run to St Lukes, 1 sec after she got it and have her medical.

Its not goin to cause her any trouble. she just won't have her passport with her for a long time, not until her visa is delivered.

My plan is to have a advance medical next month maybe October 12, 2009

but i am still thinking to do that. I want to make it sure if its really okey.

I am here at Mindanao now. of course a waste of money if ever they will not

accept the advance medical right?

Hope she can give me a reason why I can't go for advance medical..

Why not call SLMEC and ask them? The cost of a phone call is a lot lower than a plane ticket. And you get the answer right away.

My plan is to have a advance medical next month maybe October 12, 2009

ksi po i know guard gonna ask u if u have the appointment letter beside if u want to know that u need to take sputum exam try to take a medical in other hospital than u pay 10500 pesos. diba?
