Has anyone managed to get an interview in November yet? There are hardly any people booked for October and none in November. I'd really love to know how those clowns in MTL go about booking interviews.

And you're about a month before me - this isn't looking good. Montreal sucks!

Concurred and concurred. Bunch of a**hats, really. There are loads of us K1 and CR1s waiting. #######?

This waiting is worse than NOA2 or anything -- each day feels like a week and it's real fun living in a half-packed apartment trying to organize stuff etc., etc...

As I am sure you are all well more than aware...

Good luck to everyone, I am not blessed with patience and this is just trying it even more.

You know the thing I don't is how in this day and age, with computers doing everything, people have to wait to get an appointment date. There are a bunch of people that have been cleared for the interview, but it takes months to get the date - makes do sense. If you take a dentists office as an example, I know when my next appt. is as I am leaving the office, because someone looks in the computer and says, "were free on whatever date". I just dont get it!

I'm sure there's a reason for it, we're just not privy to that information.

There's probably a lot of people waiting for interviews, they also seem to process non-immigrant visas (excluding K visas) faster than immigrant ones.

I can understand all that jazz and whatever, but I wouldn't mind waiting a few months if they would at least say "k, here's your date -- sorry it's 3 months away... " now it's impossible to plan anything or get cheap travel tickets or whatever. I guess it's just annoying as all the other counties process their interviews so damn fast -- people finish at NVC or send in package 3 and within a couple of weeks, they've been assigned their date...

i know, preaching to the choir, I does it!

Sister, I know. I'm already married but frankly? This wait makes it look like I'm going to miss celebrating our first wedding anniversary together. Maybe even Xmas. AGain. There's only so much time I can take off from work, I have no holidays left from visiting my husband and family. I can't just jaunt off and not be responsible and stuff. I'm also trying to save money so I can be an asset for my new life there.

It just sucks bo-bo and I feel like a HUGE whiner and in real life? I'm not a whiner but some bureaucratic power has my life by the balls right now.

It's not like I don't have happiness or hobbies and stuff here, I do and I have a good life that I've made and good friends but I'm not a young woman anymore and my prime is almost used up and I'd like to find a job and make a life in my new home but it feels like i'm never going to get there. Really? How many of us can there possibly be? If they did 20 marriage visas a day, 5 days a week, wouldn't that be doable? Why i'm bothering to think of such hypothetical scenarios is beyond me... Are there not enough wickets to push us through in Montreal since we're a low marriage-fraud consulate?

I feel like I could cry a lot these days out of frustration and someone else telling me when I can start moving on with my life.

I know you all know this and I know you all feel it too and I'm not ranting here for sympathy, i'm ranting here because I know all the eyes that read this can empathize.

Thanks for listening.

Matt - you sent in your packet Aug. 28? 90-100 days from that date is when you should expect your interview.

You shoot that number out anytime some has a question about this topic. It has nothing to do with my post as I wasn't asking when my interview will be. And where do you get those numbers anyway? VJ lists it as being 107 days from when the consulate receives your package from the NVC not from when they receive your completed P3.

If I remember correctly, last year most people who sent back their packet around August/September has interviews before December.

They didn't really schedule very many interviews in December last year and then everyone from Septemer/October started getting interviews for January/February.

You should all consider themselves lucky that you'll all probably miss the December holiday season. That really slowed us down. I sent back my packet 3 in the middle of November and didn't get an interview until March. I found out about it in February.

lgg - They do a lot more than 20 marriage visas a day I'm sure. When I went the place was packed. I'd say they probably do at least 50-100 visas there a day - that's my estimate, probably more though. It is busy there.

I have a feeling once we go through our interviews and move, it'll seem like time flew by :)

I'm concentrating on spending time with my family and friends that I won't get to see too much after I move. Makes the time go by fast.

Hmmm, thanks SapphireDreams...

For some reason, that kind of made me feel a little better.

:)

See?? It's just the little things!

Good luck to everyone -- it'll happen but guess we all just have to wait...
