Turia, sorry I missed to send you a rose dear (F) Hope you feel better and get to the bottom of it.

STILL SICK HERE GUYS

Debating on whether to go home early and just rest.

Betsy, as others have said, I remember my hubby telling me he wanted it to be just he and me.

My girlfriend was the only one who came to the airport, she drove me there and us home b/c I was too nervous.

I remember her wanting to take us out for some real american fare and he declined.

With jetlag and a mad rush for the toilet

I thought at first I SHOULD have my daughter with me to greet him then I thought, and not to sound mean,

but I wanted to share that moment just he and me and didn't want any other distractions or concerns.

It worked out well. GOD HAS IT BEEN 10 months already??? :o

Lucky for me too, I took off like 4 days, around the weekend and I rescheduled my weekend visit with my little girl for another so that we could have nearly a week to ourselves....we did stop by to see the kids like a day or two after his arrival and that seemed to work well for everyone.

freeeeeezinnggggg :(

Both my dad and husband are coming back on the same plane and so only my mom and I will go pick them up, maybe just me, cuz we are unsure if there will be enough room with all the luggage! I plane on cooking manacotti the night before and then have my sister heat it up before we get home. I'm also going to make carrot cake with cream cheese frosting because I love it and I mentioned one time I was eating it and he thought it was weird to have carrots in cake lol so I'm going to make him try it :)

My kids are older and I think they would feel very disappointed if they weren't able to be there for his actual arrival. Luckily the next morning they both will be off to school so we will have the whole day alone together. I will ask him his thoughts on it but I think he will be fine either way.

Happy Thursday MENA (F)

Lisa and Terrie (F)

I think I'm going to bring the babies to work tomorrow!:whistle: Wonder if anyone will notice them under my desk?!? :innocent:

Thank god this week is almost over!! Our big birthday (mine and BIL) bash is this Saturday night! I can't wait! I'm taking a half a day tomorrow so we can get everything ready. We need to have our sound system set up in the backyard and carpets cleaned (hmmm so everyone can just mess them up?!? ) :P Also need to do the food/drink shopping and such. Babies are staying for 1-2 hours for the first hello's then off to Auntie Marsha's for a sleep over away from the crazy adults! :innocent:

What are the weekend plans?

Hey everybody! Betsy, I don't think I have had the chance to say congratulations. I am sure you will figure something wonderful out for your husband's arrival. It is a good thing for him to fly in during the daylight time. My husband was amazed at all of the green we had here. Soon, that amazement wore off though because there isn't much to do in our town but cow tip! Best wishes on you future and new life.

Annie...I so freaking would be on the next plane to you if I had the time and money!!
