what is the best time to call manila embassy?

You may want to ask this in the "Philippines" forum - depending on where you live they could be 8-12 hours ahead of you.

she is living in manila right now..i was try to called manila embassy but nobody answered i only heard the system.

i was trying to ask about what we do next after my fiancee done of her medical? I am confuse about I-134? Last few days i called to uscis and and I was told not to fill out the form coz it has not been requested yet... I was told to call the embassy in manila to get more information... but no one is there now to answer the phone... I dont know what to do... I was told that if I sent the I-134 form in and it was not requested...it might cause a delay... I have the account verifications now from the bank... but I dont have any request from the uscis for the I-134.

you can opt for yoru fiancee to call instead of having that $18 pin, just have her call, they cost only about 55pesos a minute so you'lllikely spend a lot less than $18 :)

she can call at 8-6pm philippine time :)

Don't wait on the embassy to send you anything or you may get old. Go to this page and learn all you need to...Call them and see if they have your package yet and set an appointment.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf

This page is about Setting Appointments:

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

Has she/he got all the paperwork ready yet, is the medical done.

Go to St Lukes -- send her a copy of the letter from NVC, email or mail your choice: it's walk in so don't worry best to go Tues-Thurs to avoid rush.

Medicals are valid for 6 months. Info about medical is at the wwwfk1en.pdf link above.

Check this site for more info on the visa process in Manila:

Check up on the CFO seminar he/she will need either before or after but definitely before he/she can LEAVE the country Look HERE:

Your fiancee has to be interviewed at the US Embassy Manila on or before the NOA2 expires.

When you have your NOA2 (approval notice from USCIS), you should already prepare the I-134 form and the supporting documents:

- letter of employment

- W2

- previous year's 1040

- paystubs from the past 3 months

To set an interview for your fiancee, first you have to find out if the US Embassy has your physical file and if they have processed it into their system.

To find out if the embassy has the packet and has processed it, call the Dept of State before 5pm: (202) 663-1225 press 1 then 0 to speak to someone.

If they say yes to both questions, you can either call 1-888-877-9888 to get the $18 PIN, then set the interview date and the appointment letter will be e-mailed to her (if you give them her e-mail address).

Or you can instruct your fiancee to call from the Philippines 1-909-101-7878 (now it is Php 55 per minute) to set the interview date and the appointment letter will be e-mailed to her (if you give them her e-mail address.

My BIG thanks to thepizzadude for this invaluable information :)
