You have to bring the orginal documents for interview at embassy but for the copies that you submit, they are supposed to be photocopies. But, notorization needed.

Tax transcripts, NOA2, fiance birth cert etc, everything can be photocopies for the interview except for the updated letter of intent and I-134 forms. Hence notarization needed. Tax transcripts dont have to be notorize but tax returns must be notorized.

Good Luck.

It means they want you to bring original documents in case they ask to see them, you GIVE them copies. Your birth certificate and passport copies should be certified copies.

Unless specifically asked for there are no documents that need to be notarized, including the I-134.
