However, unless your I129F is approved in the next day or two, you have no choice but to pursue the CR1.

I'm totally confused as to which Visa I'm following. Although I-130 approved, I want to go down the K3 route.

Has your I-129F been approved yet? Until it is, you don't have a choice. I'd plan for the Cr-1 to be safe and to prevent delays (which is the path you are currently on with the approved I-130)

I-129f current status shows RFE received and case processing.

I would have thought that both petitions would have gotten approved, either, same time or within days of each other. Don't get me wrong, in thrilled that I130 has been approved, but, I would have liked I129f to be approved, as it's quicker.

Looks like I-130 is the only option for you right now, until that changes, follow the shortcuts to prevent delays through NVC

I clinging on to hop that the status hasn't changed on-line but, that K3 has been approved and we'll receive the notice. If I130 is completed at the NVC and I get a interview and medical date in October/ EARLY November, that'll be brilliant. Any sooner, yay!

The CR-1 takes longer because it stays longer at NVC with documents being sent between you and them as well as payments. The K3 stops in at NVC, says hi, then goes directly to the embassy for processing and you can set up for the medical exam and interview. Have all your paperwork together, it makes a big difference!

So you think the K3 still can be approved, even though I130 has been approved on 14/09/09?
