Yeah they said they want to review the evidence and if it checks out than we should be good to go. She is so mad at herself for leaving it. She couldn't believe it, but what could she do? She will stay in Moscow and see what happens. I sent them like 50 pages or so. Of course the people reviewing are government employees I am not expecting too quick of a turn around, but maybe they'll surprise us. It has been a really rough couple of days for me. At this point it's just like "of course this happened."

Well.... I am sorry that this happened... but the good news is that it is at the embassy and not with the USCIS....

Congrats Derek you guys do look good.

I am sure it woll be resolved relatively quickly, but what a pain in the #######.

I can only imagine how it's been the last few days....at least the embassy there is willing to take the evidence this way!!

Derek - Lovely!! You all look great!

Thank you everyone! Kaylin was our ring bearer. She did wonderfully!

Awww...she is just so precious, Derek!

Oh..I got to see Jessie's dress for our wedding! We had it shipped to my Mom's house since she is going to give that to her as a bday pressie. It is even more gorgeous in real life than in photos! I can't wait to see it on her! Now...my dilemma is this...I had thought to let her be a Jr. Bridesmaid....my mom has suggested that she walk me down the aisle with my Dad....I'm not sure which to do!

Hugs, Liz

Well it was like this.

We got there and waited about 5 minutes for the next window. Went up to the desk and started getting the papers typed up. The woman was cold and unfriendly. After screwing it up 6 times she finally got the paperwork correct. Then she took us over to an area with a trellis and we stood there and repeated the typical "do you take...." stuff. Then exchanged rings and were pronounced man and wife. easy-peasy-lemon sqeezy!!!

Sheesh...cold and unfriendly? They need to find someone better suited for that type of job...it's peoples wedding day for goodness sake! They dont want to deal with a sourpuss on that day!

Amen to that Liz! She didn't crack a smile and she had a bad inner city accent. Even I had a hard time trying to figure out what she was saying!

 Omg....she could have at least smiled! I don't care if your having a bad day or not, don't ruin it for everyone else! :bonk:
