well, she gave up her family for me in a way... i guess giving up a nice 52'' oled tv or a brand new computer or a cosmetic job to my car (buying nice rims and make it more sporty) doesnt match to what she gave up for me (family, career, friends, home) so i guess she deserves that and more, thats love my friend lol

Lampros is here!!! He landed last night at about 7pm :D :D :D

No one even talked to him about his paperwork or even looked at his visa though!! We have to drive back to a different part of the airport to give them the folder which is still sealed and unlooked at! Bah! Oh well... HE'S HERE!!!

Apparently immigration at Seattle Airport closes at 5pm, so anyone can come into the states from wherever after 5! :P

Jamie, picture of you together... pah lease?! Congrats, so happy for you!!!

Liz, I am good, very sleepy today. Tackled countertops last night, was sanding little by little for the past week, put 2 coats of urethane last night with sanding in between. They look like new now :) . Crashed at 3, slept like never before :)

Need, hang in there bud. Funny, I actually like this weather :)

Ooh...I need to have you come help Pat do some work around our house it seems...lol! ;)

We are both doing really good....ready for some warm weather so we can get out and do more painting on the outside of the house...usually our winters are mild, dry....not this year..lol! Haven't been able to paint since late October!

Hi all :)

We went to the P.O.E near the Canadian border (30 minutes away instead of hour and 30 to Seattle) and got the paperwork taken care of!!

the Immigration officers were laughing about how poorly the pre-clearance was handled.. lol.

We are getting ready to start doing things here, social security card and marry!! The immigration officer at the border said that we should marry before getting the SSN because it will further prove that he deserves a SSN but I'm very wary of this because of what happened with Derek.

What did you do wrong Derek that made it so your honey can't work til later or does anyone know in what order I should do things??

We got Pat's SSN first...about 2 weeks after he got here...it has a statement on the top that he can't work without DHS authorization on it but that will be removed once he gets his EAD/GC. I personally would suggest that you get the SSN first. You do need to wait at least 10 days (from the day you got him cleared at the POE) before you try though otherwise they might tell you he's not been in the country long enough to get into the system. Pat went about 7 days after he got here and they made him come back a week later... :wacko:
