Maire it looks like you guys had a good time. If I had been able to meet up with you I would have let you borrow my pass it would have saved you 10%. You didn't tell me until the day before you were coming. If I had know I could have made some arrangements. My bad.

I had a friend who stayed at best buy since wednesday at midnight. He was first in line and for a small fee he got me the HP laptop that they had for $200. I haven't even taken it out of the box yet. I was too busy with other shopping and then some friends and I went to Sea World. I did order the Russian overlay stickers for the keyboard and I still have to put some pictures and a few letters on it before I can send it to Oksana, but I'll do that over the next couple of days.

BTW amazon.com is both a curse and the greatest tool ever for black friday.

Glad to hear Pat liked thanksgiving. How did the cornish hens come out? Sorry about the fruitless trip to wal mart.

Wait wait wait wait: how do you plan to send it???

Richard, congratulations! Just like I said, it will go smooth.

I am going to send it USPS. They haven't lost a package yet. I have sent her quite a few things and they always get to her, but I am going to insure this one just to be safe.

Lee, please? I had half of my package stolen from me and Natalia :( Insurance won't do s*** once it's outside of US.

Thanksgiving was ok, much needed break. Worked with my brother for the most part, had some great food and rested a bit.

Visa approved... should arrive in 5 days.... it took all of 1 hour and 45 minutes, most of which was waiting... very easy process

January 13, 2010: - Chicago received AOS packet

January 19, 2010: - Received 3 NOA email

January 20, 2010: - Check cashed[/color]

January 22, 2010: - Received 3 NOA hardcopies in the mail1st touch I-485, I-765 & I-131

February 01, 2010: - Touch - I-765 (EAD)

February 08, 2010: - Touch - I-485

February 08, 2010: - Case moved to CSC

February 13, 2010: - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (After a long wait!)

Igor not too worry. It is against customs rules for me to send a laptop to Russia and it's not worth lying on the form for me to take a chance when we still don't have the visa. At least when she gets here it will be waiting.
