03/21/2009 ----------Stationed to Rhodes

07/16/2009-----------Meeting in Spain for 6 days!

08/27/2009-----------Stationed to Nevrokopi

01/10/2010-----------Gets OUT of the Army!

02/16/2010-----------Interview!

02/24/2010-----------Lampros arrives in WA!!!

He didn't just want me long, he wanted me a little longer than forever... :3

Liz, Richard, so you just booked for round trip ?

I booked one way ticket when my wife was coming here. It wasn't that expensive.

February 12, 2009 - NOA1

February 18 , 2009 - Touched

June 3, 2009 - NOA2 (Hardcopy June 8, 2009)

July 13, 2009 - Medical (Completed)

July 14, 2009 - Interview (PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

July 20, 2009 - Visa Received

August 9, 2009 at 4:25 pm - Arrived safely in JFK airport

September 25, 2009 - Getting Married

October 31, 2009 - Wedding Day

Thanks. It will be the opposite for me since I am flying there to pick her up.

I booked me a round trip ticket and made sure we were all on the same flights on the way back... I too picked a random return date that was cheap, since the return date does effect the overall cost.

Then Joanna said "Honey, we have a return flight in January? You only want us there for 1 month?"

I'm looking at tickets and the prices aren't very much different for round trip/one way and we're going to try and fly him out of Heathrow, England because he gets free tickets to there from Athens, hopefully that will all go smoothly. Ahhh.... 64 days.

LOL...I do the frantic waving a lot too! :lol: And thank you, my daughter is the light of my life!

Wow...64 days?? That went fast....hehe....at least to me it did!!! I'm with Richard, it doesnt seem that long ago that you were just breaking 100 days...lol!

64 days is just the end of the Army.. then it's plus the interview and medical and waiting and drama and hoping more and more :D Ahhh I love him like he11 so it is all so so very worth it.

Good Morning everyone! We went on friday to apply for the social security card...my question is when can he get and Id card..we went to Hooters the other day and we forgot his passport and he couldnt drink....his passport cannot fit in this wallet...so I was thinking meanwhile he starts studying for his drivers license may be he can get and ID..anybody knows?
