THANKS!!! Yea we are happy but we're still getting used to marriage, she's young and so am i...well...kind of... I'm 25 she's 22... we're still being patient and understanding towards each other in my opinion but things are going good so far and we are happy. We're starting the AOS and she already got her Social sec. card. BTW...on the back of the I-94 immigration stamped "allowed to word" and on her ssc says pemitted to work until the visa date expires, i still have to file the work permit in my opinion.

Another good thing is that she's gonna start taking english classes at a university in manhattan (st. john's) and you'd be suprised how many learning programs are out there for free... never thought of that, she's still going to the paid program but just to keep her learning and busy during the day she's gonna start to go to these classes starting monday so it's nice to pass this info to people as well so they can look for such english learning classes.

Who's starting with the AOS here btw?

thanks igork!

Wow you are fast Liz... you just want to get done with it right? i dont blame you, the faster the better and i think if we go over the allowed days to stay here there is a penalty of $1000 no? or once you are married you are allowed a certain time to go over the days and send the application...gotta look into that but imma try to step on it = )

How are you doing with your future husband? How he's doing so far in the States?

cute pics!!!congrats!!!how was the ceremony at the clerks office? how is it?

to me...it was FAST...no more than 10 minutes the whole thing! thats why i said before you go into the window...make sure everyone you are expecting to attend are there because it could be like me, fast and easy.... the marriage officer is brief as well...tells you the speech then the "do you..." then the "I do's" then the rings... and by the power of the state of _____ i pronounce you husband and wife thing.... then photo ops and thats it out and next couple come in! get it.... well it was fast for me, then again, i got there like at 3pm and it closed at 4pm.... i saw alot of people in there but maybe most of them already got married or were waiting for people in order to continue their ceremony.

Good luck to you, when are you getting married?

NEED.. Great Pics... I'm glad you are doing well..

I sent our AOS package last week. We are waiting for the NOA1.

Thanks man! I see you are having a happy life as well, congratulations to you too! I have one question though...did you pay for a certified copy of your marriage certificate or you just made a photocopy of it and send that instead?

Yea same here...we got a cranky one... and we plan to do the real thing (religious wedding) later on but in Peru. :)

we paid for 2 certified copies at the time of the wedding. We sent one of the certified copies

We are doing great! He's staying busy with things around the house....I'll have to get some new pics for you guys, he started painting the outside of the house and got the entire front section done yesterday....it looks sooooooo freaking awesome!!! Looks like a totally different house....lol!

Sounds like Kathy is adjusting well...did she have a good time when she went away for those two weeks?

Hugs, Liz
