Morning Igor!

Morning Liz! How is everything besides work?

Great, sweetie! Had a nice weekend with a BBQ for Pat's birthday...spent yesterday just relaxing with him and my daughter...so, it was really nice!

How about you...doing ok? Love your car, btw!

Great!

Yeah, it was a busy weekend, but when is it not you know? All is good!

Thanks.

Here are some pearls for the AOS..

the G-325a is the biggest pain in the a$$. None of the fields are long enough to fill in electronically.

The I-485 has some questions and fields that are a little confusing.

The I-131 I didn't fill out because it asks specific questions about the trip even if you don't really have one planned. We decided not to apply for AP. She can travel out of the country once she gets her temp GC.

And that takes how long approximately?

Have they updated the G-325a recently then? I remember filling it in and not having any trouble...

On the I-485 can you shed some light on which you found confusing? I only ask because your one of the smarter one's on here and with me and my blond head, I'll be lost for sure! hehe!

I noticed that about the I-131.....we want to file it but I wasn't sure if we could just leave those specific questions blank or fill in with N/A

i would expect no longer than 3 months

Hopefully faster...I have a friend on here from the UK that I've been following her AOS progress. She got her EAD & AP approved in 34 days and got her 2 yr green card in just over 60 days....maybe we'll all be that lucky!

Hugs, Liz

Yes, It is a new G-325a. The drop down box for dates doesn't work. The date doesn't fit after you select the date you want. the little black plus + sign shows up. The address fields are very short considering you have to put an address for anther country, which includes the countries name. I made a word doc with the information about her previous employers and just wrote, Sheet attachment line 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5...

Thanks Lee... it is what it is... compounding this is the fact that I am way to busy at work to focus and this is in Joanna's lap to deal with. I think she is getting things scanned as I type and we will email them tomorrow. At this point, since I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I know it isn't the proverbial train, I am ok with the delays..... they suck, but whats new :)
