Thanks. I am filling out generic I-134... Aren't they all the same? Did you guys fill out something different?

I'd love to meet the guy/lady who makes up those papers...

"10. That I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on behalf of the

following person(s). If none, state none."...

The sample says "This question is only for US Citizen who filed family based immigrant sponsorships( Green Card) form I130.

For a non-immigrant visa holder ( like H1, L1 etc) or GC holder this question is logically not applicable so write None or N/A."...

??????????????

I haven't filed any sponsorships in the past... "For a non-immigrant visa holder" - are they talking about me or my SO? I have a citizenship and passport on hand...

With not having mine right in front of me, i can't remember exactly but I think this is where you would put Natalia's name. I think it includes the visa petition you have for her.

Hugs, Liz

Logically it makes sense that her name goes there, but after seeing that example I have doubts...

I am lucky, because one of my really good friends works at the law library and he has already said when we do the AOS he is going to help us out. Hopefully I won't have to bother him too much, but it's nice to have that option. I have only glanced at the paperwork so maybe it isn't too bad once I sit down and look at it.

I think online examples clear things up *sometimes* and they have helped me in the past...

I think so too, Igor. When I was first looking at the AOS papers I hadn't looked at the samples. Some questions I still go HUH??...but the samples did clear up most of my questions.

Lee - Lucky you to have someone to help you!!! I got lucky when I was doing my divorce papers I had a friend here at work that is a lawyer and he helped me with those papers. Too bad he's moved to Chicago....

Just waking up Jamie?

She is on the wrong coast now :D

Mornin' Jamie!

I was thinking about the reunion we all want to have...most of us are in/around Florida I think. I know Richard is in Atlanta, Roman and Carlos(NEED) are in NY, I'm in Texas and Jamie is now in Washington. Am I missing anyone?
