I-864 question about joint sponsor

I have a question concerning the I-864 and getting a joint sponsor. I have always been a stay at home mom (now divorced and remarried to my Egyptian husband) so therefore I haven't worked for some time so I dont have any tax returns or will be able to sponsor my husband alone, So I will have to find a joint sponsor. I know in determining your income and how much money you need to make is determined by your household size, but what I dont understand is are we basing the income on MY household size and the joint sponsor is helping me meet the household income requirements or since I haven't worked are we basing the income on my joint sponsor's household size. My household size is 5 (me, my 3 kids and my husband whom I am sponsoring) so that is I believe around $33,000 for the poverty guidelines. I did receive around $5000 last year from child support so does this mean my joint sponsor needs to make around 28,000 to make up the difference in this? Or does my $5000 not really count since I haven't worked and we are just basing everything on my joint sponsor's household size and income? Also do I fill out the I-134 and the I-864 at the same time and send both of these in together at the same time? Thank you

The incomes cannot be combined UNLESS the joint sponsor is a household member and uses the I-864a. If the joint sponsor is not a household member then his income must be sufficient to support himself, any dependents he has here AND your fiancee. You will also fill out an I-864 even though you do not have income or are not qulaified.

I do not know if you need the I-134 for a DCF, I believe the DCF, an immigrant visa, uses only the I-864.

Thanks so much, I have one more question. If my mother will be a joint sponsor for my husband and just her and my father live in the home (they both have jobs) will my mother count my father as household size. So if its my mother, father living in the home would the household size be my mother, my father and my husband. or just my mother and my husband. Im confused about this because my father works also and my mother doesnt support my father because they both work. Thanks
