I'm not familiar with the CR-1 process but just wanted to say congratulations!!! :)

Hi Ladies...how is everyone? I hope you all had a good holiday weekend!

Missing Jordan yet again today...in tears on the way to work wishing I could fly there after Christmas. Hopefully hubby will get to start his job next Monday and we can save up some money and be in Jordan next year for at least a month.

Ex-husband has a court date on Dec. 15th for non payment of child support...wondering if he will show. Anyone know what will happen if he doesn't show up? I think he will be arrested. But I don't know what happens after that...how long will he be in jail...etc? Once he is arrested can I tip them off that he is here illegally? He keeps getting arrested and they don't deport him....I don't know how that works....

Amanda, I'm not an expert in the US law...but we have a samiliar situation here... John's ex rarely shows up and hasn't actually paid child support at all.. She did not show up either in the last two court appointments... John told me next time her driver's license will be taken from her as a warning, and if she still doesn't want to pay she's going to jail... I think since your ex is an illegal in the US, he should be deported... I don't know who you should contact for that, but there must be a way.. My prayers are with you to get that burden off your shoulders (F)

Aya, I was wondering why I hadnt heard back from you... sorry you didnt get the PM, I'll try to send another. smile.gif The short answer in my long PM was yes, I agree with you and think its a good idea.

It's such a bad luck not to get your PM. Thank you for caring to write back though, Lisa (F)

Happy Friday ladies

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Isnt it funny though (not really) but if they had a job to do past 9:30pm then they would be doing it whether we said no or not? Im pretty sure Adam said the same things to me, but it obviously doesnt work  My words to him are, Im doing what I did before I met you and if there was a problem with me working and taking care of the home before I met you, GOD would have told me otherwise. Else LEAVE it alone dude!
