Congrats. I think your case is K1; I was told that NVC generally only handle immigrant visas, your case should be forwarded to the embassy with jurisdiction over your case.

Your case will generally arrive at NVC after approval at USCIS in about a week to 10 days. Once they get it they will forward it to the designated embassy for visa processing, this can take anywhere from 2 days to an unknown amount of time depending on your case being stuck in AP or not.

I see you posted that the your file left the NVC. The consulate should be receiving your paperwork soon. From there your fiance in Morocco should be receiving a packet in the mail from them probably within 2 weeks, you can check our timeline to see. Then for us I believe my fiance's interview was about a month later. I hope that helps.

Congrats & Best of Luck!!!

Congrats. I think your case is K1; I was told that NVC generally only handle immigrant visas, your case should be forwarded to the embassy with jurisdiction over your case.

Just to clarify: all approved I-129F petitions go through NVC prior to forwarding to the consular post. At minimum, NVC runs a name check on the beneficiary before sending the petition onward. If the name check does not clear immediately, or if your petition is "randomly" selected for additional processing, your petition will be delayed a matter of days or weeks before being sent to the consulate.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
