Our case was received by NVC on August 26 and they sent the packet to my husband but I think it's lost because his address was not changed. We thought USCIS gave them the new address when they forwarded it. We came to know that they already sent it just last night when I called NVC so they updated his infos. And today, while at work, my mother called me and said there was a mail from US so I guess it's from NVC.

my husband called NVC the other day for our case number but they told him to call again 2 weeks after the notice of approval and that will be next week...i hope hubby can get case # before he will leave to visit me here in Philippines...

so is it advisable to just give my original documents for ds230 packet to hubby and he will be the one to mail it to NVC when time they will ask for it?

ok...it's not that i'm excited about the ds-230, i just want to prepare all the documents needed so that i can send it overnight when they asked for it. here's my list:

1. barcoded cover sheet (once my husband paid the IV bill and the status online says PAID)

2. My own cover sheet of the documents

3. Original birth certificate

4. Authenticated Marriage certificate

5. NBI Clearance (US immigration purpose)

6. DS-230 form (part 1 signed by me)

7. photocopy of my passport

8. 4 passport sized (2in x 2in 5x5 cm) photos

9. Police certificate from Dubai, UAE

I'm satisfied with my package. I just have an issue about my Dubai PCC . It's valid only for 3 months and it's already expired on September 7, 2009. But I've never been back there since the issuance of that PCC and it was actually requested more than 1 year since I left that country. So, do you think this will cause us delay or RFE'd us? Can I include an explanation that I was never out of my country since January 2008 so there's no need to re-apply for new PCC..??? This is the only thing that bothers me right now. Any suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Beth

ok...it's not that i'm excited about the ds-230, i just want to prepare all the documents needed so that i can send it overnight when they asked for it. here's my list:

1. barcoded cover sheet (once my husband paid the IV bill and the status online says PAID)

2. My own cover sheet of the documents

3. Original birth certificate

4. Authenticated Marriage certificate

5. NBI Clearance (US immigration purpose)

6. DS-230 form (part 1 signed by me)

7. photocopy of my passport

8. 4 passport sized (2in x 2in 5x5 cm) photos

9. Police certificate from Dubai, UAE

I'm satisfied with my package. I just have an issue about my Dubai PCC . It's valid only for 3 months and it's already expired on September 7, 2009. But I've never been back there since the issuance of that PCC and it was actually requested more than 1 year since I left that country. So, do you think this will cause us delay or RFE'd us? Can I include an explanation that I was never out of my country since January 2008 so there's no need to re-apply for new PCC..??? This is the only thing that bothers me right now. Any suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Beth
