Two weeks behind you and feel the same way.....

We are both dying at this point. All of our financial planning etc. has gone out the window due to these delays.....

I have to believe post 3-6 apps will start getting approvals soon....

7-08-06 Stopped by Border Securtiy on NCIC name hit - Identity Theft two years ago and theif used my name as an alias which is now permanently tied to his criminal file as an alias - Border Security very helpful and understanding and apologetic about the situation but they have to verify I was not the perpetratpr.

7-10-06 Sent RFE

7-11-06 Received by CSC

7-19-06 Touched e-mail stating received 7-19-06 (BS)

8-03-06 Wondering ####### is taking so long - 128 days now

Adjudicating is when they make a decision. It means you may have a decision on the approval of the petition as early as September 15. It does NOT mean she will have the visa. It means the US portion of the petition approval is over and next it goes to the National Visa Center and to the consulate in her country. You may want to read through the guides so you understand the process and flow chart.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

It means that your case will be decided on. But dont take alot of stock in your timeline. That is just a guess based on the statistics from all the timelines entered into the database by members. Time from NOA1 to NOA2 vary alot. With the IMBRA issue it is anyones guess when you might get your NOA2. No reason but some people seem to get theirs in reasonable amount of time others take longer. Right now CSC is saying it takes from 90 to 180 days for a case to be decided.

You will hear soon. Do not worry about it, the reality of CSC will be revealed soon.

I am confident that we will all be pleasantly surprised on the arrival of the NOA-2. Waiting sucks though, this is so true.

The CSC slowed down drastically this time last year as well, perhaps the entire group has vacation time all at once. Farfetched, but it is the USCIS so you never know ;)

Interview - February 13th APPROVED! day 152

April 6 - wedding date day 204

Aug 22 - AOS interview date day 101-total days 342

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

2008

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277

I believe that with the current circumstances in mind, they will ensure continuity on this process. Lives are being affected here... Someones holiday plans are not a primary consideration at this juncture. However, I could be wrong. I doubt it though, because this IMBRA issue has really put all USCIS people behind. Would you take holiday time now, if you worked there? I would not. It becomes an integrity issue.

Do you know something that I don't? (Not like that would be unusual) I am just hoping for some good news and if somebody knows or has heard something I could really use some good news. This waiting is at times unbearable.

05/18/05: Met on Yahoo chat.

09/10/05: We agree to meet.

02/10/06: First trip to Manila

03/26/06: Filied I-129F package

04/04/06: NOA 1 at California service center

06/30/06: IMBRA RFE mailed to CSC

07/05/06: Email stating CSC received RFE

07/31/06: NOA 2! Wahoooo!

08/03/06: NVC reciept

08/07/06: NVC forwards petition to the Embassy!!

1. Normal slow down around this time

2. IMBRA

3. Transfer of resposibility from NSC and TSC to CSC

Wow... could you imagine being an employee trying to ask for vacation time right now or calling in sick there?? That boss probably has a "NO" sign posted on his door for time off requests, etc..

June 14, 2006 - Notice from CSC it was transferred

June 30, 2006 - Received IMBRA RFE (CSC)
