Hi.

I have received NOA2 hardcopy from CSC about 2 weeks back, though I didn't receive any email regarding that and no email/letter for further processing. I really need some advice about the remaining process and the timeframe it can take as arranging documents can take time in India.

How many days after NOA2 next letter or email is expected ?.

Around what timeframe (which month) we can expected the final interview ?.

What are the documents required after this stage and can we arrange those before hand as police certificate etc. have a validity of 6 months ?.

Around what timeframe Employment letter is required (is it at the time of interview or before that) ?.

When is affidavit of support required ?. Please reply...Thanks

How did you find out that you had gotten approved if you received no email or letter? The email should have been received immediately if you had given USCIS your emial information.

Around what timeframe (which month) we can expected the final interview ?.

Is completely dependent on your embassy. No one can give you an exact answer.

During NVC.

Did you call NVC to check if number has been assigned to your case? You won't receive any e-mail after NOA2 until you don't get a NVC number.

Around what timeframe (which month) we can expected the final interview ?.

NVC stage takes around 45-60 days if you had all necessary documents prepared in advance and ready to be mailed., Then put another 60 days till interview date, which period might be shorter, depends on your consulate in India.

What are the documents required after this stage and can we arrange those before hand as police certificate etc. have a validity of 6 months ?.

You need all the documents for the DS-230 and I-864 to submit to NVC - which is where your case is already headed.

Check here to see which documents you will need (click on the Civil Documents link for a list):

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

Then you will want to check here to see what documents are accepted (select your country from the drop down menu):

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post to visajourney.com though I have been reading for a couple of weeks.

The I-130 petition process for my wife and step-daughter started in January 2009 at the Vermont Service Center. After surviving two RFE's, the emails from CRIS came on Friday, 4 September 09, proclaiming that the cases have been approved. Yeh !!!

This long Labor Day weekend, I am studying up on the NVC flowchart and the related forms, bills, steps and tips that can take us to the next phase smoothly. I found this site to contain a wealth of information. For example, by putting the keyword "DS-3032" in the Search box, I tapped into vast experience on the subject of Choice of Address and Agent (found that they should choose me as agent to get mail in the US). Next target, online payments and emailed forms . . .

Thank you VJ members for sharing and I will be back. Now, if I only know how to attach a timeline???

NVC has electronic processing system in place now for 'NVC PROCESSING' - have a look?

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
