Do we get any "Evidence" back from USEM

Hello Everyone,

I wast't lucky searching this so Ill just ask :)

Do we get any of the Evidence that we give to the screener at the end of the interview?? Photos, Proof of relationship, extra financial info, etc. or do they store boxes and boxes of personal info from everyone that passes through there? I guess the only piece of paper I really care about is the coveted pink slip, just curious about the rest in this age of identity theft.

Thanks!

If the pre-screen takes it you do not get it back.

they will return the photos, emails and letters. and if ever the consul will get few copies of emails and letters, they will never return it anymore. once they get a document, they never return it.

your information will be hold securely by the embassy, so no identity theft.

As for what you submit for the interview the CO will give back, but what you give to NVC you have to fill out a form to get back the originals.

For K-1, they kept all the documents, and some of the evidence. Most of the evidence they gave back, because there was too much. Then when I got my pink slip, they gave me back all my pictures and postcards, and the emails, and the letters. They gave me back everything except the documents. They kept all those.

I looked through the hole in the packet they sent me, and I saw all the stuff, the pictures, and everything that my fiance sent the USCIS, and our letters of intent to marry as well he sent them.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
