Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Congratulations on your approval Munchy. I would suggest that your husband have his CO (Commanding Officer) send a letter stating that he currently serving in active duty status and is unable to request leave at this time. If you take that to the interview, I think you will be fine. You may not even need a letter.

I hadn't seen my fiance since Aug of last year due to my health conditions...I wrote a letter explaining why I was unable to attend the interview...and there were no problems with me not being there. Best wishes.

Congrats on your approval!

I agree with Jawi, if you submit an official letter from his CO that should suffice as to why why you are unable to see your Husband as often as you would like and why is unable to attend the interview(F) Good luck
