I have NOA 2 letter (scan),NVC letter indicating mnl case #,passport,2x2 photos and medical fee.I dont have letter of appointment yet.Is it true that the guard will not let me in if no letter of appointment from USembassy?Got reply from other member that during her medical some girls dont have letter of appointment from USembassy and the guard did not allow to let them in for medical exam. But i read here that they had medical exam even without letter of appointment and they just present mnl case, passport and photos.Should i believe her that i should wait my appointment letter from USembassy before going for medical exam coz the guard will not let me in for medical?

The guard let my fiancee in without the appointment letter, but the lady inside asked for it. It's basically up to you whether you want to risk needing it but not having it. IMO it's best to go after you have called USEM and set the interview date, at which point they will email the appointment letter for printing.

I thought they send the letter of application thru email?

that's what I have during my medical, and had no prob.

Good for you!

After waiting a couple of days for this Email, she just went down there without it and got thru it all.

After it was all over, I called them back and found that her email was incorrect and had it fixed and before I even got off the phone with the Embassy the letter was already there.

Also why should SLMCEC care if you have an interview appointment set or not already? They are making their money. The guard that lets you in only cares that you have a MNL case # or not.
