September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers

He's like a little kid with a secret he can't keep.. and told me what he plans to do when he comes. He wanted to surprise me, but just couldn't keep quiet. He told the that when he gets off the plane he planned to say somethign like this:

"When you have come to see me you come for a few days.. Now I have come to you.. and I will stay forever".

As far as I am concerned.. that's the best "proposal" I could have ever asked for

truly, this ROCKS. honestly, what more do you need when you have a man (or woman) who will love you like that?

i do not fear needles, nor do i really fear spiders, and i actually really dig lizards...but cockroaches - OMG.

Morning everybody.

It's way way too early for me to be up. But mom is having her surgery today and I have to take her. I keep thinking that it's just 2 more days until I see Mathew. Or the day after tomorrow, since it sounds quicker!!!

Hoping for good news for you all today! And me! NVC BETTER get my friggin' case or I'm gonna go 564684668 kinds of crazy.

We got NOA2.... Antonio called 5 minutes go! He beat the text message from USCIS by 2 minutes...!!!

My son had a snake for many years. Her name was Betty she was beauiful. Unfortunately, she died earlier this year.

He's had lizards, scorpions, and spiders, but now he only has poisen dart frogs.

IN BOCCA AL LUPO is literally "Into the mouth of a wolf" in Italian.. It means good luck, like "break a leg."

Antonio checked this morning, obviously just as the system updated and I got the email text a couple minutes later. Yesterday my obsessive behavior was in overdrive.. so call, check the website 600 times, check your email 100 times.. that was my recipe yesterday.

You would love the lizards in SC, you put them near your ear and they latch on like an earring. That would get you screaming all the way to Vermont!

LOL, Too cute!!! Yeah, I've loved animals with fur, feathers, and fins all my life. In raising my kids I learned to celebrate creatures I NEVER thought I'd touch. Believe it or not I actually learned to love Betty the snake.

So, I called DOS.. AGAIN.. still does not show that my petition has made it to the Consulate. This woman was not so pleasant and told me that it hadn't been that long and that I should just be patient. I told her it was sent on 10/27 and that the DHL website was showing packages sent on 11/2 had arrived today.

Her response.. "you know how the government works. They told you it was sent on 10/27, but then it went to someone's desk.. and then probably to another desk.. and then to the mailroom.. and then maybe actualy got picked up two or three days later.." Well, even if that happend it would have been picked up, sent and delivered by now.

I am sure it actually is there.. but I just want some OFFICIAL notification that it has been received..

I have this strange feeling it's going to take longer to go from NVC to the consulate than it took to get NOA2

( if I wouldn't type so darn fast, I wouldn't make so many typos and wouldn't have to edit so often )
