I hate when this thread gets buried. Sorta makes you realize that our time has come and gone. :(

Things for us are going so-so right now. Mathew had another job interview at a company he really wants to work at. The best part? I'd be living in the same city as Maggie so I wouldn't be so lonely in a new town. His interview went really well now we're just waiting on them to talk to the hiring manager and hopefully get some good news.

Now for the bad part...booh!!!! I've been having severe stomach pain for the last 3 days. They checked and it's not my gall bladder or a kidney stone, so the next thing to have checked is for a bowel obstruction. I've been through it with my mom twice and I don't want no part of that!!! I'm going to call the doctor back on Monday and see what she says to do, but I'm hurting so bad right now I feel like crying is my only option, haha.

Hope everyone is doing good!

Wow, it seems like a lot has gone on in the last few weeks..... yet I still found us on Page 5.

Sad.. I agree with Kayla on that one.

Frenzy, good luck with the GC. Now that you are at CSC you can just sit back and wait.

Krystal, glad to hear the baby news is still good

Karen, we haven't had a honeymoon yet either...though we have traveled quite a bit, but that was for work

Maggie.. what's going on with you?

My congratulations to Seb

Has anyone heard from Ney?

Kayla.. good luck with the job in Indiana, but if that doesn't work out have him look for a job in RICHMOND! You have family here... and me :)

I will be looking to see how things go with you. Hope the Dr. appointment goes well.

I miss you all!!!

Where is everyone?

The last three posts have been me.

KAYLA I have to get in touch with you. How is THIS for strange...

This morning, I am driving into workand thinking about you and Matt and his looking for a job. I was thinking if we ever had an IT position open at the park that I would contact you and let you know... maybe Matt would apply here and you really COULD move to Richmond.

Five minutes ago I was notified that one of our IT managers has resigned. I KID YOU NOT!

We have a job opening here.. get it touch with me!!

Hope everyone is well

hey guys, sorry haven't been around...I was hoping my next post would be that my honey got a job...but he's still waiting to hear back/looking. :(

BUT we are good...his 1 year U.S anniversary is coming up next saturday, and then a month after that will be our wedding anniversary! hard to believe it's been a year, for either of those things! ;-) it's been a rollercoaster, but happily we are more in love than ever.

here's to hoping good things come to all of us here soon!

Hi ladies, I'm never aware of how far our thread is because I have it book marked in my phone.

Kayla, how's the job hunting? How do you feel?

Maggie, how are you and Kenyth? I hope all is well!

Jenn, glad to see you posting often!

Frenzy, how's work?

As for myself, I'm doing ok. Matter of fact, I'm 7 months one week and I just want to sleep everyday, all day. Im having what is called round ligament pain and its tearing me up, it hurts really bad to turn in bed, lift my leg to put my shoe on and I just can't wait to go back to normal. My doc says my cervix is stretching to accomodate the baby and that's why it hurts. As Kayla would say, booh :(

I'm due June 9th :)

In the mean time I'm having fun (stressing over the shower because I'm such a perfectionist)

Ugh, its soo different to be pregnant. Im confused and forgetful, VERY emotional and just can't wait to meet him. I did a 3d ultrasound, he's chunky! He looks nothing like me, more like glenoi.

I feel like I'm rambling so I'll quit typing now. Forgive me if I jump from topic to topic.

Take care ladies!

Work is INSANE. I'm pulling between 35-40 hours a week now. That's not something I'm used to, and it's taking quite a bit to GET used to it. Before now, I've never held a full time job like that, plus I'm a full time student. Everything is falling behind, but it's okay! I will get through it! The good news is that I get to do a bit of traveling next week - I'm off to DC! Unfortunately, it is without hubby. I'm actually going with my school for a very hugely discounted rate given everything I get to do. I'm pretty excited!

Hubby's birthday is next week, and we have his biometrics appointment the day before, and then I leave the day after... so it's going to be crazy, but to be honest? I love it. :)

I'm glad you all are well!!! <3

Well frenzy, think of it this way, more hours=more money. I've been working at the same job since I was 16 and I've never had to do full time hours before. I do 6 hours and still complain, lol. Happy Birthday to Matt!!!! Enjoy your trip as well.

LOL I think, at this point, that's all that's getting me through this - knowing I can finally take care of us and such. I've started living day by day, telling myself "Just gotta make it through today!" and kind of just going with whatever happens. It's a big change for me because I'm used to having order and organization in every aspect of my life; things planned out weeks in advance and all that. Life sure has thrown some curveballs, but I'm more confident than ever that I'll get through it.

Still keeping you all in my prayers, because so many wonderful things deserve to happen to you all!!! :)

Hi everyone!!

Karen, I work @ a preschool as a family worker (social worker). This position is temporary, my usual position is (floater) teacher assistant and floaters usually never work a full shift.

Soo since my boss needed a family worker asap, she had no choice but to take me up on the offer that I'll take the position but I won't work longer hours. Plus, I'm a boss's pet, pregnant and have been there longer than any of my co-workers so yea, I'm spoiled.

Anyhow, hubby got a job! Not exactly what he wanted but I'm going out on maternity leave soon and we needed that extra income. It's not much but its better than nothing.

So congrats to both our hubby!!!!

HEY.... Congrats on the jobs for the husbands! Fuat just went back to work at the park as well, so he's pretty happy ( me too).

Frenzy, I feel your pain.. I did the full time job/full time student thing too.

Karen, I too have that 24/7 shift with 8-10 hours of it spent in the office. Fun isn't it?

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kayla? I sent her a message on her, but haven't heard from her. If her husband is still looking for a job we have a position he might be suited for and I want to get a job description to his ASAP.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with her PLEASE have her send me an email or get in touch with me on here.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately. Work and school is about to take me out. :(

Jenn, I didn't get a message on here so maybe it didn't go through. I'll send you an email tonight with Mathews email info so you can send him the job description. You're so awesome for thinking of him!! You're the best!

We've had quite the crazy week here. Last week Mathew got an email saying that he didn't get the job in Indiana, so he decides to send them an email and ask them for tips and suggestions for his future job hunts. The manager emails him back asking for our phone number so he can call and talk to Mathew about it. Turns out, the manager loves Mathew and says that he couldn't make any guarantees but he was going to try and get them to reconsider or at least give him a second interview. A couple of days pass and on Thursday he gets a call from HR for Carrier saying that he has a second interview with the manager, someone else, and someone from HR on Wednesday. So while this sounds awesome and we're hoping for great news since they've called him back we're trying not to get our hopes up too much.

How is everyone else?
