okay, is he looking on Dice (http://dice.com/)? It's a site specifically for technology professionals. Also if you are not already you should use Indeed (http://indeed.com). It aggregates job search results from many sites. If you guys are open to relocating to a major metro area you could also check various major tech blogs for listings.

You should also run a search for Kentucky's largest/top employers. Check each company's website directly for openings.

He actually called Rockwell Collins yesterday about an app he put in and the lady said he was still in the running for it and that it all looked good so he'll probably get an interview call soon. I hope! This one is in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Cedar Rapids is GORGEOUS!!! Just make sure you get a place that isn't by any major source of water, though. It tends to flood out here in the summer. Don't let that discourage you, though!!! :]

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to be away so long! The trip to Turkey was so nice, but we ended up having to leave 3 days early! My grandmother passed away and we had to change our plans and fly to Michigan, so we lost 3 days with his family.

Don't feel bad for my grandmother, she was 87.. had a great life and was ready to be with my grandfather! Of course we are all sad, but we are happy too. She was pretty lonely the past few years.

We just got back two days ago and now have to fly to Singapore tomorrow. I normally wouldn't complain, but we were away from home for two weeks when we were only planning on one.. and now gone for another week.. then home for a week.. then back to Michigan and Nevada for Christmas. We feel like we haven't been home at all.

The parks closed, so Fuat is not working now and he can't even really look for work because we are gone so much. He's bored when we are home and it drives him crazy.

Hope all is well with everyone.. I will write again when we get back from this Singapore recruiting trip.

Mathew got a call from Rockwell Collins today and he has a phone interview set up for tomorrow!!! So that means we may be moving to Cedar Rapids! Aside from not knowing anyone, I think it'll be great if he gets it. Just wish it wasn't 12 hours away from home.

Mathew's interview went great, and he got his invitation to go to Iowa for an on-site interview! Things are finally starting to look up for us, I just hope the good luck continues and he lands this job.

Well, hopefully he gets into Cedar Rapids and out before any major snow storms. We are supposed to get a few inches over the next few days, but I don't think it's anything considerable. I'm so happy for you both, and hey, if you move here, maybe we could get coffee sometime! Good luck!!

We're leaving monday at 1:20 and we'll be in Cedar Rapids by 4:30 and then we're leaving back out at 5pm the next day. I looked over the weather and it's supposed to be fairly calm so lets just hope it stays that way. We've still got 5 to 6 inches on the ground here.

Sorry for not being on here... all we have is Kenyth's Blackberry still. They don't have cable/dsl lines where we are lol...and try finding modem drivers for windows 7 for dialup internet.. omg. lmao.

We are hoping to move after christmas. We've been staying with his grandparents since we moved here. We got all our paperwork done for AOS and we're filing this week.

I am very sorry for not being able to keep in touch... I haven't forgot about any of you. I hope everything is going well. Kenyth is still working hard. Hoping that our package goes through smoothly.

Okay, just to let you both know, we're under a blizzard warning right now, and it's supposed to stick around until tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what Cedar Rapids looks like right now, but if I know Iowa, the weather is going to suck all throughout the week. If you're going to be driving in CR, just be careful. I'd hate for anything bad to happen to you!!! Hopefully *FINGERS CROSSED* the weather clears up before you travel.
