After 3 visits to the embassy, and a bit of a bumpy road, I can officially say APPROVED! ***Said like the Target cashier on Saturday Night Live****

We had a 2nd appointment yesterday, and I got to be there for the interview. Fernando went back this morning to wrap up a loose end and officially gets his visa in hand on Thursday! I feel like someone just took a ton of bricks off my chest. Now, just to introduce him to the parents and get married 3 days later. . . .

Goodmorning everyone :star:

Snowy day today in Jersey

I wish everyone a happy wednesday!

AandD: don't stress about your case getting to the consulate, keep on celebrating NOA2 and just know that it won't take months to get there.

Jenn: your time is coming closer and I'm as anxious for you as much as I am for myself, I'm happy to say that I'm now confident that we ARE going to get it because after I went over everything, there's no reason to deny us and my consulate isn't that bad, except for 1 male CO

Good morning everyone. Snowy, rainy day here too.. Krystle I am so happy this is going to be over for you soon. Please everyone keep posting good news! I am trying so hard not to get depressed and this group helps a lot :)

Things have not been going well the past few days, but I am hoping we don't let the stress get the best of us... and.. I just heard from the couple that recently had their interview. The man had lived in this country 22 years.. had a green card ( expired now of course or they wouldn't be applying).. Moved back to Turkey before his Green Card even expired.. had every piece of documentation you could hope for... And they were put in AP.

It seems to be happening only with the males and pretty much with all the males. I really am trying to stay positive, trying to have patience and faith.. but I have to prepare myself for what is probably going to happen... and what will most likely happen if we have another 4-6 month delay.

Going to get ready for work now and I hope I can keep myself busy .. and warm :):)

Jenn, you are too strong and positive person to think that something like that can stop you. It's just another step in the way to life you wish with the one you wish.

So many obstacles you mentioned didn't break you but made a stronger. Your love is something special otherwise you wouldn't be together. :luv:

When I saw yesterday the hard copy of NOA2 with our names, I was so happy and almost started to cry. And, of course, I wish our case is already in the NVC.

Step by step, I know that...but I miss my honey and want to be with him soon... :luv::star:

Jenn: when I was moaning and groaning, you were the main 1 cheering me on (not saying that none else didn't). So now that you feel down I'll try my best to keep you encouraged.

Things are going to go sour every now and then but you and Fuat have to be strong, brace and take it one day at a time. I know in your culture that family plays a big roll, but in the end, sometimes you have to do what's best for you and that doesn't always please family but if they really love you they'll support you every step of the way. Stay strong Jenn because no problems or hardships last forever.

I'm next in gthe hot seat to post news and I'll try my best to post as soon as I get a chance coz I know anticipation is a killer...

Matter of fact, who constantly has access to a computer that I can text to post for me? Coz I know I won't get to a computer until a couple hours later...

Danne: congratulations!

Luis&Alice: congratulations to you too! it must be so awesome to have your honey in the US with you now.

Kayla: sweeet, have a great time together!

Krystle: yay it is soooo close!! i'm so excited for you.

Jenn: don't give up hope. if AP happens, you guys can survive it. yes it *could* be 4-6 months more and that would suck, but think about how much you've already made it through! maybe it will mean another trip out there while waiting, and more phone bills...but you guys can get through it. think about it, this whole process was supposed to take much longer than it has taken for us. just please don't give up, stay strong and upbeat for fuat, you guys will get through it. and i will hope the luck of this group will make things go smoothly...#1 wish for you is approval with no AP, but if there is AP, i hope it is SUPER QUICK! :) just take it day by day, and make a pact to each other that your love is strong enough to see this through.
