My fiancee took her interview on the first of september, and passed in only a few minutes.

But.... what do we do from here?

We're already in search of flights from the Philippines... but what is the deal with the seminar? Is it necessary? Any preperation for it? Anything else we should be aware of?

Thanks!

The seminar is the CFO and yes, it is necessary. You will have some fellow VJers that know someone that skipped the CFO and was able to leave without the sticker but there is absolutely no reason not to go. It's only takes a few hours, doesn't cost much and there is nothing to prepare for. Good luck and Congratulations.

Your next step is to wait for the passport and visa to be delived by Air21.

After you receive that, go to:

COMMISSION ON FILIPINOS OVERSEAS

ST. MARY EUPHRASIA FOUNDATION. INC.-CENTER FOR OVERSEAS WORKERS

good shephers convent, 1043 AURORA BLVD, 1108 QUEZON CITY

So you can get the CFO stamp and sticker. If you have an office closer to where your SO lives you can use that one. Shirr an I went to the Quezon City office cause it was close.

Both are required before you can exit the Philippines.

Just thought of something. When my fiance was at the CFO she texted me because they asked her what city and state I was born in and I think they also asked her my mother's maiden name..Pretty ridiculous as far as I'm concerned but I would make sure your fiance knows that info. Again, Good luck.
