We sent our I-751 to CSC on 8/31 and they got it on Sept. 2nd. We already got our I-797C (NOA1?) with the extension of the conditional resident status, the receipt date on the NOA is 9/2/09

Hi all!!!

I have a few questions regarding a procedure for removing a condition for my wife. We received a letter from Immigration and it is reminding us to send the I-751. I all ready printed the form and completed everything on it. Our date is September 19. my questions are:

1. When should we mail the I-751?

2. Besides $545 worth of fees, is there anything else we would have to pay at later date?

3. Should we mail all the evidence, pictures, bank statements, child birth certificate, to prove marriage, now or at some later point?

1) A cover letter detailing my package contents.

2) Form I-751 - completed and signed.

3) Personal Check for the application & biometrics fee - $ 545.00 (payable to U.S Department of Homeland Security)

4) Copies of my USCIS Form I-551 front and back (LPR card).

5) Copy of marriage certificate.

6) Copies of our joint checking account statements – 5 copies of various time points until current month.

7) Copies of our joint health, dental and prescription insurance documents and cards.

8) Copies of IRS transcripts for tax filed jointly for 2007 and 2008.

9) Copies of state tax filed jointly for 2007 and 2008.

10) Copy of our economic stimulus payment letter in 2008.

11) Photographs taken since you obtained the conditional residence to present.

12) Copies of our utility bills (assorted) establishing the same residence.

13) Copies of various holiday cards received from each other/mentioning both your names on it.

14) Copies of joint AAA memberships.

15) 2 Affidavits in support of your marriage from family/friends.

16) Copy of our joint credit card.

17) Copy of the joint title to an automobile.

18) Copy of our joint apartment lease/joint owner of property.

19) Copy of our airline boarding passes’ stubs for trips we took together in 2007 and 2008

I received today the return receipt for my I-751 that we mailed 09/02... It didn't have a signature of whoever accepted it, just a stamp that says "USCIS Received--09-8-09". Funny thing is, since it was sent certified, I was able to track it down and according to USPS website, it was received at CSC on 09/04 (so what's with their date?). They already cashed the check on 09/09 and I'm still waiting for the NOA. I feel like I'm suffering from OCD again, checking the mail box every single day (that's hubby's job) and looking at the online banking where I could see the debited $545. I cannot see the check that they endorsed so there's no way to see the back of it for some numbers...

I received today the return receipt for my I-751 that we mailed 09/02... It didn't have a signature of whoever accepted it, just a stamp that says "USCIS Received--09-8-09". Funny thing is, since it was sent certified, I was able to track it down and according to USPS website, it was received at CSC on 09/04 (so what's with their date?). They already cashed the check on 09/09 and I'm still waiting for the NOA. I feel like I'm suffering from OCD again, checking the mail box every single day (that's hubby's job) and looking at the online banking where I could see the debited $545. I cannot see the check that they endorsed so there's no way to see the back of it for some numbers...

I feel like you, checking everyday the mailbox (is also my hubby dutie :-) ).

They cashed our check yesterday, so we should be getting the NOA pretty soon.
