My fiancée is Polish, but she stays in England, and her interview destination will be the US Embassy in London.

Has any of the readers heard of the level of acceptance foreign petitions there? The I-129F form states the following:

"NOTE: (Designation of a U.S. embassy or consulate outside the country of your fiancé(e)'s last residence does not guarantee

acceptance for processing by that foreign post. Acceptance is at the discretion of the designated embassy or consulate.)"

And what does "your fiancé(e)'s last residence" mean? Is it the one before she moved to England? (means: Poland)

I do not have personal experience, but if she is more or less a resident of England I believe the interview would be done in London.

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

The notation you're referring to is in regards to the question

"20. Your fiancé(e) will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at:"

Is your fiancé a legal resident of the UK? (If so, then the UK is her last residence in this case and that is where the visa application will be processed.)

If your fiancé is not a legal resident of the UK and you list the City/Country (London,UK), it is up to the Embassy/Consulate to decide whether (or not) to process the visa application there.

Yes, she is a legal resident there and if it is so , that solves the problem.

Greetings and vielen Dank!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
